hugs.tf is an annual charity live stream event benefiting SpecialEffect: the gamers charity. Over the last 5 years, we have raised over £40,000 through events related to our favourite game: Team Fortress 2.
TF2's community is the heart of our operation, and we love creating events that everybody can enjoy - whilst also supporting great causes.

SpecialEffect put fun and inclusion back into the lives of people with physical disabilities by helping them to play video games.
By using technology ranging from modified joypads to eye-control, they are finding a way for people to play to the very best of their abilities. But they are not just doing it for fun. By levelling the playing field, they are bringing families and friends together and having a profoundly positive impact on therapy, confidence and rehabilitation.

That's right! Any donations of £10 GBP or higher to hugs.tf will not only aid SpecialEffect in bringing fun and inclusion back into the lives of people with physical disabilities, but will also earned this shiny medal to keep forever!
To receive your medal, you must sign in with Steam when donating with cash so we can send your medal to your account. If you donate with TF2/CS:GO items through Scrap.TF, you must donate around $15 USD worth of items (equivalent to about 8 Mann Co. Keys).
If you donate partially with cash and partially with items, the total will be calculated so you can still receive your medal.
