What is hugs.tf?
hugs.tf is an annual charity live stream event hosted by a friendly bunch of Charity Loving Hat Enthusiasts benefiting SpecialEffect.
Over the last decade, we have raised over £40,000 through events related to our favourite game: Team Fortress 2.
TF2’s community is the heart of our operation, and we love creating events that everybody can enjoy – whilst also supporting great causes.

About SpecialEffect
SpecialEffect put fun and inclusion back into the lives of people with physical disabilities by helping them to play video games.
By using technology ranging from modified joypads to eye-control, they are finding a way for people to play to the very best of their abilities. But they are not just doing it for fun. By levelling the playing field, they are bringing families and friends together and having a profoundly positive impact on therapy, confidence and rehabilitation.

Did I hear something about medals?
That’s right! Any donations of at least £10 GBP or more will earn you the Heartfelt Hug medal, £25 or more will earn the Heartfelt Hero, and £35 or more will earn the Heartfelt Bundle with both medals received!
To receive your medal(s), you must sign in with Steam when donating with cash so we can send your medal to your account. If you donate with TF2 items through Scrap.TF, you must donate at least $13 USD worth of items to receive a medal.
If you donate a mix of cash and items don’t worry, we’ll combine them so you can still receive your medal.

£25 or more ($33 USD / 18 keys)
Okay fancy pants, we’ll allow you to don the heroic cape this time. Just be sure to bring your extra-large feather duster and trusty sidekick.
The Heartfelt Bundle
£35 or more ($45 USD / 24 keys)
A hero who hugs is a hero who loves.
Please note that donations under £35 will only receive a single medal.
Only The Heartfelt Bundle tier will grant both medals.
